Press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:
The search activities have so far been supported by a police helicopter, drones, boats with sonar, underwater robots and a GPS tracker system enabling ongoing analysis of the area searched. Police officers also used service dogs in the search. This week, German officers have also joined the search effort—handlers with tracking dogs undergoing specialist training and characterized by an exceptional sense of smell.
In addition to the standard search activities carried out continuously, consisting of combing the area, as well as operational activities, officers are using technical equipment to expand their capabilities during field operations.
