Krzysztof Rutkowski informed us of his position on the case of Kacper’s disappearance.
– We are adopting the most dramatic version, that the water is the main cause of the child’s disappearance – says Krzysztof Rutkowski. – The possibility that the child fell into the river is the most likely. There was a moment of inattention and the child disappeared – the detective adds.
Rutkowski does not take into consideration the possibility that the child was kidnapped by people who had a score to settle with the child’s father. The detective firmly rejects the possibility of kidnapping or murdering the child because of a dispute with the father. He believes that this is merely an idea that gives the family greater hope of finding Kacper alive.
– This is a psychological way of relating to what happened; it is the psychological response of a person who loses a member of their family and hope that they are alive – the detective says.
Krzysztof Rutkowski’s team will search the riverbed, but in a different section of the river from the police.
– Today, the police are searching for the boy in the upper part of the river and checking the area around the dam. However, the child would have had to cross the road, and someone would then have notified the police that they had seen him – the detective assesses.
The detective checked the geographical conditions and assessed that Biuro Rutkowski would focus on searching the lower part of the river and its surrounding areas. The worst-case scenario would be waiting approximately two weeks for the body to surface.
