This is already the third day of the search for 3.5-year-old Kacperek from Nowogrodziec. Wednesday's operations began at the location where the missing boy was last seen.
Police counterterrorists are taking part in the operation. “It is a group specializing in underwater searches,” explains asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Komenda Powiatowa Policji w Bolesławcu. “The best police divers will comb the riverbed. That is what we will focus on today. We want to examine every corner thoroughly and in great detail. We want to check today what has been inaccessible until now,” she adds.
During the search for the 3.5-year-old boy, more than 700 hectares have been searched so far, including fields and railway areas.
The search was suspended overnight, but operational activities continued. “We are constantly gathering information and verifying it,” emphasizes asp. szt. A. Kublik-Rościszewska. “The operations are still ongoing. At this point, under no circumstances does anyone plan to end them.”
The counterterrorists' main search will begin at the weir in Parzyce. (The river is deeper there.) Firefighters will search the Kwisa from the allotments in Nowogrodziec to Parzyce.
