Dariusz Uściński works at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre and graduated in cultural studies from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Our guest will talk about the interesting and important artists who visited Bolesławiec and, using their examples, present the theory of psychologist Stanley Milgram, an American who put forward the hypothesis in the second half of the 20th century that members of every large community may be connected through short networks of intermediary acquaintances. The psychologist concluded that six people (six degrees) are enough to reach any person in the world.

Listen to the conversation and let us know whether you agree with this theory. In the interview, we will discuss events including a meeting with Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk, outstanding satirist Jacek Fedorowicz, a concert and workshops with Frank McComb (a musician who has worked with Prince and S. Wonder), as well as guitarist Wojciech Hoffmann, a member of Turbo (composer of the hit “Dorosłe dzieci”).
