The project includes, among other things, construction of Bazaltowa Street as a two-way pedestrian and vehicular route, as well as construction of Zabobrze Street as a two-way pedestrian and bicycle route.
The section of Zabobrze Street in question runs from the end of the existing road’s bituminous surface near the bus terminus to the intersection with Bazaltowa Street. The construction cost of Bazaltowa Street is PLN 153,915, while that of Zabobrze Street is PLN 246,572. The contractor is Świadczenie Usług Transportowo-Budowlanych from Radostów Dolny near Lubań.
Work is also currently under way on the construction of Kamienna Street as a two-way pedestrian and vehicular route. The cost of the works is PLN 154,500. The contractor is ROB-BUD from Brzeźnik near Bolesławiec.
The completion of work on all the roads is scheduled for the end of August 2020. Between 2012 and 2019, drainage and street lighting were installed in the area covered by the investment. The city budget allocated PLN 647,910 for this purpose.
