At present, just under 1,500 unemployed people are registered in Bolesławiec County. “We have not seen a significant increase in the number of registered unemployed people,” says Anna Zug, director of the Bolesławiec County Employment Office.
Of course, the Employment Office expects this number to increase. It will become clear in May by how much. (The basic unemployment benefit is slightly more than PLN 860; it is paid for six months).
The office is currently focusing on support related to the anti-crisis shield and the special legislation. There are already approximately 70 applications for loans for microentrepreneurs. The Employment Office is also preparing for two further instruments:
- co-financing of part of the costs of conducting business activity for entrepreneurs who are natural persons and do not employ workers
- co-financing of part of employees’ wages and the social insurance contributions due on those wages for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Solutions for large companies are only now being prepared.
