The “Labour Market Barometer 2025” study shows that advertisements on job portals are the most popular method of looking for employment, already chosen by 58.8% of potential employees. Online advertisements are the real place where employers and employees advertise themselves.

The same study shows that people aged 18–24 mainly use digital channels. More than half of them choose online advertisements.

The number of employers using these platforms for recruitment is also growing. The reasons for this phenomenon are varied: the broad reach of advertisements and the ability to target candidates precisely compared with traditional recruitment methods.
The dominance of job portals in the employment search process also gives workers independence in looking for jobs. Candidates present their qualifications online themselves and actively use the tools offered by the portals. Employers, in turn, must create attractive enough offers to attract suitable candidates in a competitive environment.
