This year, the organizers of Gliniada adopted a courtly convention for the two weddings held during the parade. Ball gowns, fans, shoes and, above all, wigs, which were purchased especially for the occasion. But alongside the Versailles-style costumes, there were also many individual outfits and costumes.

Parents with children also joined Gliniada, which is evidence of the parade's growing acceptance and popularity. Parents had fun together with their children, who could not only smear themselves with clay without fear of consequences, but also inspired general admiration as a result.

Animalgliny, or animals, also took part in the parade. They included the dog of Andrzej Trzaska, a ceramic artist from Gdańsk and a longtime participant in Bolesławiec's ceramic workshops, as well as a pony. The animals were painted with clay from head to toe.

Not a single breast was liberated; on the contrary, one of the awards for the most original vehicle and costume went to a couple in which the woman presented a restrained breast and a gagged mouth. Congratulations on the idea!

Foreigners also took an active part in the parade. Proof of this was the announcement of an Englishman as the king of Gliniada. The employees and owners of Opałkowa Chata formed a wonderful group. They were not only dressed in original costumes, but were also the most musical group. They also presented an interesting show.

Vehicles powered by human muscle were new at Gliniada. The creators delivered in this category, presenting some very interesting ideas. There was a duck-drawn chariot, a Flintstones vehicle, a vehicle with wings, wheelbarrow chariots, a rickshaw with a tiny Glinoludka and a coachman, and a bicycle with three wheels.

The audience was delighted and fully supportive of Gliniada. Spectators rewarded the most interesting costumes with loud applause, greeted the Glinoludy and, above all, took photographs.
