The Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival celebrations are underway. On Friday evening, the audience was entertained by the cabaret Nowaki from Zielona Góra. Immediately afterward, the well-known cabaret group – Paranienormalni from Jelenia Góra – performed on the main stage. Igor Kwiatkowski, Robert Motyka and Michał Paszczyk presented their most popular sketches. Their radio audition sketch and the famous Mariolka-krejzolka, played by Kwiatkowski, were among the highlights. For an encore, the cabaret performers delivered a reworking of AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell” (with the chorus “We’re going to Hel”).

Some residents of Bolesławiec, however, were above all waiting for Andrzej „Piasek” Piaseczny. One of Poland’s most popular vocalists performed mainly songs from his solo albums. The concert program included songs such as “Z głębi duszy,” “Jeszcze bliżej,” “15 dni” and this year’s major hit – “Chodź, przytul, przebacz,” which the audience sang along with the artist.

Hits by the Mafia group were also included. “Piasek” performed, among others, “Noce całe,” “W świetle dnia” and “Noc za ścianą” (in the original arrangement).

More attractions are coming today. The Wilki band will be the star of the fourth day of the Ceramic Festival.
