A brutal beating took place during the night of March 17 in Bolesławiec. The perpetrators were 46-year-old Tadeusz G. and 43-year-old Beata K.

“In one of the apartments, the perpetrators severely beat the victim, Piotr M., for about an hour, kicking him in the head and body, as well as jumping on his chest and head. The man was then carried out into the stairwell. Despite the arrival of an ambulance, he died,” says prosecutor Tomasz Czułowski, spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra. “The perpetrators were detained and, after being brought to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, charged with beating resulting in the victim’s death. Additionally, Beata K. was charged with threatening another person with death.”

The court temporarily remanded both aggressors in custody. They are residents of Bolesławiec. Prosecutor’s office:

The offense they are charged with carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. An aggravation of the legal classification of the act charged against the suspects is probable.

K. and G. were remanded in temporary custody for three months.
