Disinfection, Communion in the Hand and an Additional Mass at the Basilica

Strict hygiene measures have been introduced at the Marian Basilica in Bolesławiec. All door handles were cleaned, stoles were removed from the confessionals so that people would not kiss them, and protective films were replaced. The holy water was pumped out of the stoups.

– We have disinfectants by the tabernacles. We disinfect our hands before and after distributing Communion. We will distribute Holy Communion in the hand – says the custodian of the Basilica, Rev. Dr. Andrzej Jarosiewicz.

An additional Mass for the faithful has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
