If external funding is obtained, the Municipality of Bolesławiec will begin implementing the above-mentioned project, under which up to 100% of the costs associated with the removal of asbestos products or products containing asbestos from buildings located within the city of Bolesławiec will be covered. These funds will not cover the costs of purchasing and installing a new roof covering or another building element from which the asbestos is removed. The owner or property user must cover these costs independently. A company selected through a request for quotations will handle the removal of asbestos from properties, its transport and disposal, at the expense of the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
We ask interested residents of Bolesławiec to submit the “Declaration of participation in the project involving the removal of products containing asbestos from the Municipality of Bolesławiec”, by 13 March 2020, by 2:00 p.m. (in written form), at the Bolesławiec City Hall, Customer Service Office, pl. Piłsudskiego 1 (office building – ground floor), 59-700 Bolesławiec. Alternatively, at the Customer Service Office of the Bolesławiec City Hall, Rynek 41, 59-700 Bolesławiec (next to the Wedding Palace). Or electronically at: azbest@um.boleslawiec.pl by 11:59 p.m.
The above declaration will initially qualify your properties for the removal of products containing asbestos.
The declaration can be obtained at the Bolesławiec City Hall; at the Customer Service Office of the Bolesławiec City Hall; on www.boleslawiec.eu; or in the Public Information Bulletin: https://www.um.boleslawiec.bip-gov.pl/public/ – under the “environmental protection” tab.
A condition for being included in the implementation of the above-mentioned project is that the property for which the declaration is submitted is included in the “Inventory of asbestos and products containing asbestos” prepared for the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
