Thursday’s concert was the culmination of the ceremonial celebrations of the Year of Lutosławski. Bolesławiec State Music School of the First Degree is named after this composer.
The following performers appeared in the Forum hall: Karolina Kowalak, Anna Grygiel, Marek Janusz, Bartosz Błasiak, Agnieszka Danilecka, Emilia Danilecka, Marek Gawliński, Anna Otwinowska-Płaza, Piotr Jasiurkowski, Wiktor Szymajda, Małgorzata Radochońska, a chamber orchestra conducted by Tomasz Stocki, Michał Michalski, Barbara Dynda, Agnieszka Lewandowska-Gryś, Sławomir Krysa, the “Con Brio” choir conducted by Małgorzata Podzielny, Radosław Sławecki, Mikołaj Weigt, and the school choir and orchestra conducted by Leszek Żyżny.
During the concert, awards were presented to participants in the art competition entitled “Artworks Inspired by the Music of Witold Lutosławski.” The winners were students of the Comprehensive School of Fine Arts in Wrocław: Jeremi Jędroś, Patryk Leś, Izabela Garaszczuk and Przemysław Seńkowski.
