The Ministry of Infrastructure is planning changes to road traffic law. As innpoland.pl reports:innpoland.pl:
All it will take is for a driver to exceed the speed limit by 50 km/h outside a built-up area to lose their driving licence.
That is not the end of the planned changes. Here is what else the Ministry of Infrastructure has planned:
- a driver approaching a pedestrian crossing will be required to reduce the vehicle’s speed
- the speed limit in built-up areas is to be made uniform at 50 km/h during both the day and night. (Under the current law, speeds of 60 km/h are permitted in such areas after 11 p.m.).
