As Kamil Barczyk, director of the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec, reports, workshops devoted entirely to cancer diseases will be held on 23 May, in cooperation with the Medical Universities in Warsaw and Poznań: Oncology Prevention Day. K. Barczyk:

My main concern is raising awareness among people who have already been affected by the disease or who may potentially be at risk. It is also important to enhance the medical standing of the medical community.

During the free workshops, consultations will be held on the possibilities offered by contemporary oncology, comparisons of its level of advancement and access to the most modern diagnostic and treatment methods in Poland and other countries. Those interested will be able to receive advice and consultations, undergo tests and have imaging diagnostics performed.

Patients will be seen by the best oncologists, renowned in Poland and worldwide and pioneers in this field of medicine, including Prof. Maria Litwiniuk, Prof. Marek Bębenek, and Prof. Rodryg Ramlau.

These are the first consultations of this kind to be organised in Bolesławiec County.
