BKS Bobrzanie continue their series of difficult friendlies ahead of the upcoming Lower Silesian fourth-tier season. In today’s practice match, the Bolesławiec side once again faced a third-tier team. This time, our team’s opponents were Motobi Bystrzyca Kąty Wrocławskie. The team coached by Krzysztof Lechowski are still playing with a very experimental lineup.
The following players appeared against Motobi: Dawid Kizyma (60' Grzegorz Majchrzak-Victoria Ruszów) – Sylwester Rydzak (60' Bartek Zapiór), Paweł Demczar (60' Sławomir Szewc), Robert Gajewski-GKS Prochowiczanka Prochowice, Krzysztof Janicki (45' Daniel Góralewski), Mirosław Kunz-Stal Chocianów (45' Tomasz Jasiński), Mateusz Mucha (46' Łukasz Bednarz-KS Górnik Polkowice), Mateusz Janczyszyn (60'Rafał Kotwica), Adam Popecki-Górnik Złotoryja, Seweryn Kędzierski-Konfeks Legnica (46' Paweł Rissmann), Maciej Machowski-Nysa Zgorzelec (46' Piotr Juszczak).
The match ended in a heavy 0–4 defeat for BKS. The goals were scored in order by: Adam Samiec (25th and 40th minutes), Damian Szczepaniak (86th minute) and Adam Mostowski (88th minute). The first two goals came from set pieces. The next two followed visitors’ attacks and mistakes by our defenders. The Bolesławiec side also had several chances to score. First, Mateusz Janczyszyn hit the crossbar. Seweryn Kędzierski also missed a good opportunity, shooting just wide with a header. Adam Popecki also sent a narrowly off-target shot at the Motobi goal.
The visitors deserved to win. They were the faster and more accurate team. BKS fought an even battle with their opponents only during the first 30 minutes of the match. Interestingly, our team performed better with players who are not yet formally part of the BKS squad.
Next Saturday, our team will play an away friendly. In Lwówek Śląski, BKS Bobrzanie will face Polonia Środa Wielkopolska (Greater Poland fourth division). The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
