Tauron warns: watch out for scammers!

As we read on the company’s Facebook profile:

Warning: with the new year, we are NOT MAKING any mandatory changes to electricity and gas contracts. If someone visits you at home and asks to see your agreement with TAURON or your bills, they are trying to scam you. Our employees are not entitled to demand access to these documents in your home. Therefore, do not share them with anyone‼

Tauron adds:

If you have any doubts, call the helpline: 555-444-555.

Let us remind you: fraud is punishable by six months to as many as eight years in prison.
