The Bolesławiec Star of Kindness began with a parade of Bolesławiec preschoolers: proud helpers of Santa Claus. The competition for the most beautiful Nativity scene was decided. Seniors and young people performed on stage: the Choir of the Association of Repatriates from Bosnia, Their Descendants and Friends, the Szare Szeregi Scout Troop in Bolesławiec, the “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble, the “Bolesławiec” Municipal Brass Band, Mirek Kuc and Friends, and the “Jutrzenka” Communal Song and Dance Ensemble.
The audience applauded the joint performance by the BOK–MCC music workshops and US Army soldiers. The Bolesławiec Star of Kindness concluded with a Christmas gathering of residents with the city mayor and the handover of the Bethlehem Light by the Bolesławiec Scout Troop. Everyone gathered in the Market Square shared the Christmas wafer and ate a communal Christmas Eve meal prepared for residents.
