The owners of Opałkowa Chata invite residents of Bolesławiec to their restaurant. Pork specialties, kvass and delicious dumplings made according to a traditional home recipe await all guests.
Both restaurants were designed to retain their individual style while being as functional as possible. The owners of both restaurants, parents of two small children, arranged the Opałkowa Chata locations so that every mother and father, as well as every child, would feel comfortable there. The restaurant in Jelenia Góra has a large playground with a swing, slide and sandbox, as well as a playhouse. Upstairs there is a play area for the youngest children and even a cot in case a little one feels sleepy. The toilets have changing tables and children’s potty chairs.
The spacious main dining room offers a beautiful view of Śnieżka. Upstairs, the stylish “Stajnia” pub has been arranged. There are stalls, saddles and drinks from a crazy mare.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the restaurant, and special fans remove unwanted odors from the dining rooms. This is important because after visiting some restaurants, the menu can be identified by the smell clinging to your clothes. At Opałkowa Chata, the chefs recommend the specialties. One of the managers of Opałkowa Chata in Jelenia Góra used to be a regular customer at the restaurant in Bolesławiec. Today, with the expertise of a true gourmet and accomplished cook (he is a fan of Robert Makłowicz), he will recommend the best dish. So at Opałkowa, ask for Chef Marcin.
The restaurant in Jelenia Góra is also a wonderful place for short summer trips outside the city. Picturesque landscapes and a pond with ducks nearby provide rest and relaxation, while delicious food and attractions around Jelenia Góra offer a great way to spend free time in an unusual and inexpensive way when there is not much of it.
