At the World Children’s Karate Championships, held in the Czech Republic on November 9 and 11, Amelka won the title of vice-champion!
Amelka is growing up in a foster family created for the girl by her aunt and uncle. Amelka’s family is under the care of the Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie. It was the PCPR staff who decided to publicize Amelka’s story in order to prove that a child surrounded by love, even if they have experienced trauma, flourishes when placed in caring hands.
