Black Mercedes, crime film, 2019, Poland, 120 min
26–27 October at 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Under suspicious circumstances, Aneta (Maria Dębska), the beautiful wife of respected lawyer Karol Holzer (Artur Żmijewski), is murdered. Senior Commissioner Rafał Król (Andrzej Zieliński), an officer of the Blue Police that collaborated with the Germans during the occupation, attempts to solve the mysterious murder. Further clues multiply suspicions and reveal the deceased woman's deeply hidden secrets, as well as her husband's unclear connections to a high-ranking SS officer (Aleksandar Milićević). Among the suspects is also the somewhat eccentric Count Leon Przewiedzki (Andrzej Seweryn), who makes a habit of spying on people present in the lawyer's flat, particularly women. During the investigation, Commissioner Król finds an unexpected ally in Ernst Kluge (Bogusław Linda), a counsellor of the German criminal police. Holzer's situation becomes increasingly dangerous, while the murderer, who remains at large, may be on the verge of committing another crime.
