On Saturday (19 October), as part of the 11th-round fixtures in the regional league, Piast Wykroty hosted BKS Bolesławiec. The hosts made the better start. In the first half, Piast had a clear advantage and created several 100% chances. However, they could not convert them into even one goal. Among those to shoot at the BKS goal were Dominik Szydlarski and Grzegorz Roman, but their efforts were either off target or saved by BKS goalkeeper Jakub Walczak.
BKS, meanwhile, played poorly. Sebastian Tylutki’s players made many errors in their buildup play. In one attack, Mateusz Medyński got tangled up with the ball inside the penalty area. In another situation, the home goalkeeper beat Adrian Kulesza to the ball, resulting in a foul on the goalkeeper, a yellow card for the BKS striker and pushing between the players.
The hosts’ winning goal came in the second half. In the 67th minute, Eryk Kliwak (until recently a BKS player) converted a penalty, making it 1–0 for Piast. The hosts had several more chances to extend their lead, while BKS also created opportunities, but no more goals were scored. The closing stages were very tense. First, the Piast goalkeeper fouled the BKS striker in a one-on-one situation. The foul occurred outside the penalty area, for which the goalkeeper received... a yellow card, while BKS were awarded a free kick.
Mateusz Olesiński then received a second yellow card and, consequently, a red card. This prompted protests from the BKS players. Moments later, for unsporting conduct, the referee showed two red cards to the visitors. Adrian Puzio and Dorian Latała received their red cards in the 90th minute. BKS finished the match with eight players. Based on the course of the entire match, Piast deserved the win. The hosts had more scoring chances and were better than their opponents.
