The meeting was attended, among others, by representatives of local government authorities that cooperate with the association.
Bolesławiec County:
Examples of such cooperation include removing architectural barriers, organizing integration meetings and providing financial assistance. In the case of the County, it also includes the participation of branch representatives in the County Social Council for People with Disabilities at the Bolesławiec Starost’s Office, which is responsible, among other things, for allocating PFRON funds and giving opinions on all activities for people with disabilities.
County officials add:
Through the council, blind and visually impaired people can report problems, which are resolved with the support of the County authorities and services.
Recently, at the request of Kazimierz Łętowski, president of the Bolesławiec PZN branch, the stairs at the starost’s office were marked and the curbs along the shopping gallery on Wesoła Street were lowered.
