As every year, all municipalities in the county organized harvest festivals. In Gmina Bolesławiec, celebrations were held in Bolesławice; Gmina Osiecznica organized its festival in Osiecznica; Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka in Wilczy Las; Gmina Gromadka in Różyniec; and Gmina Nowogrodziec in Parzyce.
Nearly all village councils entered the competition for the most beautiful traditional harvest festival wreath in Bolesławiec County. Bolesławiec County:
The task of making a wreath is not easy, if only because of the size of the structure. No synthetic materials may be used either: polystyrene, plastic decorations, or even glue. Work on the harvest festival crowns takes many weeks.
The wreaths were evaluated by a committee consisting of Deputy County Head Mirosław Horzempa, Katarzyna Zięba, head of the Education, Culture and Sport Department of the Bolesławiec County Office Katarzyna Zięba, as well as ASP graduates and teachers at the Youth Cultural Center in Bolesławiec: Katarzyna Sas and Joanna Mysłek-Michnowska.
The differences in scores were minimal, and the choice was difficult. Third place went to the Nowa Wieś village council, second place to Kraśnik Dolny. The Ocice village council triumphed. Honorable mentions went to the Kraśnik Górny, Milików and Różyniec village councils.
