First place received PLN 500, second PLN 300 and third PLN 200, along with prizes in kind. The honorable mentions received prizes in kind. The prizes were funded by the Stowarzyszenie boleslawianie.eu association (two thousand zlotys), as well as by Oriflame Regional Office in Bolesławiec and Ceramika Artystyczna Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego, which provided prizes in kind.
The winning photograph by Henryk Kut presents most interestingly the idea of painting oneself with clay and the fun that is Glina Show. The photograph not only has an interesting, invented composition, but also conveys the spontaneous joy of children who eagerly participate in our event.
The second prize for a photograph went to Krzysztof Łukasiewicz, one of the best photographers from Bolesławiec. The closeness and bond between a parent and child while painting themselves with clay slip and preparing for the Glina Show parade were recognized.
Third place went to a photograph by Bożena Gałan, who specializes in portraits of women. The photographer captured a spontaneous young girl in the frame as she prepared for the parade.
Costumes were a separate category. Four people were recognized for their original costumes, and three received the main prizes. First place went to Julia’s pinecone costume. She took part in the parade for the first time and, after her experiences from the previous year, decided to present her own creation. Second place for a queen-of-winter costume went to Katarzyna, who has enjoyed the parade for two years and prepares for it very creatively. The third prize went to a young girl who dressed up as a little caveman, together with her father dressed as a Flintstone caveman. Congratulations to all the winners, and we invite you to Glina Show next year.
