Police officers from Lubin:

Within just one hour, a camera built into a laser speed meter in an unmarked police car recorded reckless and dangerous driving.

There is no doubt, officers point out, that the 28-year-old driver of a Skoda passenger car belongs among the road pirates after exceeding the speed limit by 79 kilometres per hour.

Another disgraced record-holder, this time behind the wheel of an Opel passenger car, reached as much as 209 km/h—89 kilometres per hour more than permitted by law.

Both men were stopped by a patrol for a roadside check. Each received 10 penalty points and a PLN 500 fine.
