The incident occurred on Friday, 13 September, on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec. The Wrocław-based Centraurus Foundation received a report of suspected dog killing.
In a conversation with the istotne.pl portal, Norbert Ziemlicki of Centaurus announced that a report would be filed with the prosecutor’s office.
Neighbours claim that a resident of the housing estate abused the dog. However, the veterinarian who was at the scene determined that the animal had no injuries indicating that someone had beaten it. What is more, the dog was well-fed. The veterinarian identified a viral infection as the probable cause of the dog’s death.
