The competition committee decided which wreath would represent the county at the Lower Silesian harvest festival.

The differences in scores were truly minimal, and the committee—composed of: Mirosław Horzempa, Deputy Starost of Bolesławiec County—Chairman; Katarzyna Zięba—Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Bolesławiec County Office; Katarzyna Sas and Joanna Mysłek-Michnowska, graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts and teachers at the Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec—did not conceal their admiration for the exceptionally high artistic level of the works and the commitment of residents of the individual villages.

The committee members truly faced a difficult choice. Ultimately, fractions of a point decided the outcome.

1st place—Ocice—11.78 points
2nd place—Kraśnik Dolny—11.75 points
3rd place—Nowa Wieś—11.63 points
Honourable mentions went to:
Kraśnik Górny, Milików and Różyniec.

The purpose of the competition is to promote and cultivate traditions associated with harvest festival ceremonies, present the abundance of crops woven into the wreaths, and select works with the highest ethnographic and artistic value for the provincial competition stage.

The Lower Silesian Voivodeship Harvest Festival will take place on 8 September 2019 in Niemcza.
