Emergency services are responding at the Millennium Cross. Once again, a man has climbed onto the cross. A specialist fire service high-angle rescue team from Wrocław is at the scene. Negotiations with the distressed man are currently underway, and there is a chance that he will climb down from the cross on his own.
Update: 27-08-19 21:55
The distressed man climbed down from the cross on his own, using the metal structure. After climbing down, he was taken to an ambulance and will most likely be transported to the Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill. He is probably the same man who has climbed onto this cross many times before. The operation lasted about two hours and involved firefighters, police officers, paramedics and municipal guards, who secured the area.
