The first half of the match, played on Saturday (17 August) in Wojcieszyce, was not particularly interesting. Our players were too nervous and found it difficult to create a goalscoring opportunity. Woskar Szklarska Poręba imposed its style and controlled the game on its own terms. There were few shots on goal from either side, and play took place in the middle of the pitch. In the 27th minute, BKS Bolesławiec managed to score, but unfortunately the scorer, Marek Majka, was offside. After this incident, the hosts applied more pressure and had a chance to take the lead. In the 33rd minute, the crossbar saved us from conceding after a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. Despite several more chances on both sides, the score was 0:0 at half-time.

Unfortunately, the second half was disastrous on our part. In the 50th minute, after losing the ball in the middle of the pitch and a shot from an acute angle, Woskar Szklarska Poręba took a 1:0 lead. As if that were not enough, in the 56th minute the referee awarded the hosts a penalty. Fortunately, Łukasz Tomaszewski, making his debut in the BKS Bolesławiec goal, read the shooter's intentions brilliantly, and Woskar had to settle for nothing.

In the 58th minute, BKS finally attacked, but the hosts' goalkeeper saved Filip Zagórski's shot well. Unfortunately, in the 64th minute, after a free kick and a deflection off our wall, the ball went into our net for the second time. From that moment on, our team finally began to play and create more dangerous chances. In the 70th minute, Sławomir Dul sent a low cross into the opponents' penalty area, and Marek Majka, standing with his back to the goal Marek Majka headed home a goal to reduce the deficit.

From that moment on, BKS Bolesławiec dominated the pitch. The hosts focused on protecting access to their own goal and holding on to a result that suited them. In the 89th minute, Mateusz Olesiński crossed into the penalty area, where Oskar Pochwała reacted quickest and equalised at 2:2 with a header. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to claim all three points. Despite our persistent efforts, we were unable to score a winning goal, and the match ultimately ended with the points shared.

Already on Wednesday, our team will face a fixture in the regional Polish Cup; BKS will play away against LKS Mierzwin (21 August, 17:00).
