On Wednesday, June 3, the Lower Silesian final of the Individual Championships of Students of Upper-Secondary Schools in Athletics was held at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław. Approximately 700 people took part in the competition. In the girls’ category, 32 teams from across Lower Silesia competed.
Bolesławiec was represented by athletes from Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych: Agnieszka Myszkun, Katarzyna Romaszko, Anna Jamróz, Anna Prytycka, Magdalena Szuter, Magdalena Tyberek, Sara Czubak, Daria Pawłowicz, Ewa Miazga, Karolina Kopeć, Sylwia Michalska, Katarzyna Baryluk, Alicja Kaczmarska and Anna Gelenczir.
The students of “elektronik” repeated last year’s success and retained second place in the province, finishing behind only the team from the School of Sports Championship in Wrocław.
The best results among the ZSE athletes were achieved by: Alicja Kaczmarska (first place in the 1,500 m race), Katarzyna Romaszko (second place in the 100 m race), Daria Pawłowicz (third place in the discus throw), Agnieszka Myszkun (fourth place in the 100 m hurdles) and Magdalena Szuter (fourth place in the high jump).
