On Tuesday afternoon, a man noticed a drowning victim in the Bóbr River. The grisly discovery was made between the viaduct and the bridge on Mostowa Street. The body recovered by firefighters was already decomposing, so no resuscitation efforts were undertaken.

The police and prosecutor's office are investigating the circumstances of the man's death. Investigators have initially ruled out the involvement of third parties, which means that homicide probably did not occur in this case.
The autopsy, which will be carried out today, is expected to resolve the doubts.
