The incident occurred on Sunday, July 14.
We were informed about the case by Tomasz Mizerka from the Wieża Książęca Association in Siedlęcin:
[...] while walking between Warta Bolesławiecka and Wartowice, I noticed that someone was dismantling a historic mausoleum to obtain scrap metal. I reported the matter to the Police and went with an officer to show him the location and what had been vandalized in the former manor cemetery.
He added:
I do not know whether the Police will catch those responsible, but I hope that once the case becomes widely known, they will stop [oni] vandalizing this beautiful historic monument.
