On 12–14 July, the 12th Sopot Bodybuilding and Fitness Competition 2019 was held in Sopot. Making his debut on the bodybuilding stage was a resident of Lwówek Śląski and soldier of the 23rd ŚPA in Bolesławiec – Zbigniew Boczar.
Although it was his debut, he managed to win bronze. (He lost only to experienced competitors with many achievements to their name, including at the Polish and European Championships.)
As a bench-press athlete, Z. Boczar clearly stood out from the other competitors through the muscularity and quality of his chest muscles, so much so that even the judges were impressed by the form he had prepared when switching from an extreme discipline. The competition form he presented on stage was so good that, compared with the other competitors, he looked like a professional rather than the debutant he was.
Thanks to his determination and the results he achieves, it can confidently be stated that he is the most decorated soldier in Bolesławiec in strength sports, as well as in physique sports, which he has recently taken up. In the near future, he intends to confirm this both in further physique competitions and in bench pressing. The athlete says: “I will never give up this discipline, because thanks to it I have learned a great deal.”
