If external funding is obtained, the Municipality of Bolesławiec will proceed with the implementation of the above-mentioned project, under which up to 100% of the costs associated with the removal of asbestos or asbestos-containing products from buildings located in the City of Bolesławiec will be covered. However, these funds will not finance the costs of purchasing and installing new roofing or another building element from which the asbestos is removed. The property owner or user must cover these costs independently. The removal of asbestos from properties, its transport and disposal will be handled by a company selected through a request for quotations, at the expense of the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
I appeal to Residents of Bolesławiec to submit the “Declaration of participation in the project involving the removal of asbestos-containing products from the area of the Municipality of Bolesławiec” by 15 July 2019, by 3:00 p.m. at the headquarters of Bolesławiec City Hall, Customer Service Office, pl. Piłsudskiego 1 (office building – ground floor), 59-700 Bolesławiec, or at the Customer Service Office of Bolesławiec City Hall, ul. Rynek 41 – Town Hall, 59-700 Bolesławiec (next to the Wedding Palace). The above declaration will initially qualify your properties for the removal of asbestos-containing products.
The declaration can be obtained at the headquarters of Bolesławiec City Hall, at the Customer Service Office of Bolesławiec City Hall, or on the website www.boleslawiec.eu.
A condition for qualification for the implementation of the above-mentioned project is that the property for which the declaration is submitted is included in the “Inventory of asbestos and asbestos-containing products” prepared for the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
