Bolesławiec traffic police in Gromadka municipality stopped a vehicle whose driver had exceeded the speed limit by 65 km/h in a built-up area. During the inspection, it turned out that the 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was driving a car that had not been authorised for road use.

The man lost his driving licence for three months and received penalty points and a fine.

Police:

We remind you that, under the applicable regulations, every road user who exceeds the speed limit in a built-up area by at least 50 km/h will lose their driving licence for three months. The document is taken directly by the police officer conducting the inspection.

If, despite the ban, such a person continues to drive a vehicle, the period for which their driving entitlement is withdrawn will be extended to six months.

And adds:

If the situation occurs again during this time, the county governor will issue a decision revoking the driving entitlement. This will mean that the person will have to retake the driving licence examination.
