Kolonko and the new party

There is not even a date for the parliamentary elections yet, but the pre-election atmosphere, despite it being only July, is already very heated. On Thursday, July 4, the day Americans celebrate Independence Day, well-known right-wing journalist and commentator Mariusz Max Kolonko, who has lived in the United States for years, announced that a new party had been formed: #R Revolution.

The journalist and—perhaps—future politician wrote on his Facebook profile:

The #R Revolution party has been formed! We’ve had enough of politicians, enough of your stupid games, enough of your amateur governments. It is time for the Nation to take power in the state and govern for the good of the Nation.

As reported by wprost.pl:

The party’s program includes, among other things, issues concerning the judiciary (it should be elected in general elections), tax changes (equalizing the tax-free allowance for everyone), war reparations (in the form of military aid for NATO’s eastern-flank countries, with particular emphasis on Poland), holding a referendum on gun ownership, reducing the number of members of parliament, and introducing single-member electoral districts.

What do you think? Will you vote for Max Kolonko’s new initiative? Or perhaps you think it will share the fate of Robert Gwiazdowski’s political formation?

We invite you to join the discussion.
