The incident occurred on Monday, July 1, at approximately 9:50 a.m., near Raciborowice (Warta Bolesławiecka gmina). Two trucks collided: a DAF driven by a 53-year-old man from Bolesławiec County and a Mercedes driven by a 40-year-old man from Bolesławiec.

According to the officers' preliminary findings, both drivers were at fault because both were driving… in the middle of the road.

Fortunately, neither man suffered anything more serious. The incident was classified as a collision.

As we read on the website of the volunteer firefighters from Raciborowice:

The firefighters' actions consisted of securing the scene, providing qualified first aid to the injured until the arrival of emergency medical teams, disconnecting the batteries, and preventing operating fluids from spreading beyond the roadway. Applying heavy foam beneath the damaged vehicles prevented the evaporation of flammable liquids that could have caused a fire.

Firefighters from Bolesławiec, Raciborowice and Warta Bolesławiecka took part in the operation, along with two emergency medical teams, the police and road workers.
