The incident occurred on June 25 in one of the apartments on Wybickiego Street in Bolesławiec. The duty officer at the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters received information about a 49-year-old woman who had been wounded with a knife.
Unfortunately, the medical procedure did not save the woman’s life; the victim of the attack died.
Police established the course of events: during a drinking binge, an argument broke out, as a result of which a 53-year-old resident of Bolesławiec inflicted a fatal knife wound on her acquaintance.
At the time of her arrest, the suspect was completely drunk; her blood alcohol level was over 2 per mille.
Moreover, it emerged that the woman was a repeat offender. In May, she left the prison where she had been serving a sentence for a previous offense against life and health.
The 53-year-old was charged with murder. The court ordered her temporary detention for three months. The woman accused of the stabbing could face life imprisonment.
