We received a report from readers that it is extremely stuffy in the Communications Department at the County Office. It is already noticeable when handling a matter.
Those who reported the matter to us are even afraid to think about what the office employees themselves must endure.
We asked county officials whether anything could be done about it. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.

During the period of the greatest heat last week and yesterday, working hours at the County Office were shortened, and employees were allowed to submit requests to set their individual working hours from 6:00 a.m., provided that this did not disrupt the office’s working hours. In addition, in accordance with the applicable regulations, employees are provided with water. The temperature in the rooms is measured on an ongoing basis.
