On Saturday, BKS hosted Chojnowianka Chojnów, who are fighting to avoid relegation. The visitors had the advantage from the opening minutes. In the 17th minute, Marcin Baszczak shot wide. Ten minutes later, Dawid Kizyma saved BKS from conceding. Bolesławiec recorded their first shot on the visitors’ goal only in the 37th minute. Sławomir Iskrzak’s shot was inaccurate, however. In the 42nd minute, Iskrzak struck again, but the goalkeeper from Chojnów caught the ball without difficulty.
At the beginning of the second half, Bolesławiec wasted a good opportunity. Following a corner, Krzysztof Szymański headed the ball, but it bounced off the post and went out over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, the fans witnessed further examples of BKS’s inability to score. First, the visitors’ defenders blocked Paweł Rissmann’s shot. The deflected ball fell to Sławomir Iskrzak, but he missed the open goal. In the 72nd minute, the visitors scored. Adam Szydełkoproduced a fine header to make it 1–0 to Chojnowianka. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
BKS’s players appeared sluggish and did not even hurry to restart play. They lacked speed, accurate passing and shots on goal. The visitors deservedly won. After the match, the Chojnów players thanked their supporters for the encouragement.
BKS lineup: Dawid Kizyma (yellow card) – Sylwester Rydzak (46' Krzysztof Szymański), Józef Pietrzak, Błażej Rajchel, Marek Kumoś, Adam Klimas (yellow card), Tomasz Jasiński, Mateusz Mucha, Sławomir Iskrzak, Mateusz Janczyszyn (46' Kamil Mielnik), Paweł Rissmann.
