Officers from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec took part, as part of preventive activities, in Children’s Day festivals organized by:
- the Municipal and Commune Social Welfare Centre in Nowogrodziec
- the Commune Kindergarten in Osiecznica
- the Bolesławiec Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre.
A great many children took part in the activities and watched the police car and motorcycle with interest. The youngsters were eager to make a souvenir stamp—a print of their own fingerprints.
The policewomen conducted preventive activities concerning safety in everyday life through play.
Commissioner Leo, of course, brought the greatest joy to the children. Despite the difficult weather conditions, he was happy to greet and pose for photographs with them.
