On 24 May, in the municipalities of Osiecznica and Nowogrodziec, officers from the Traffic Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec secured the cycling race. Every year, part of the route runs along the roads of Bolesławiec County. This was the 27th International Cycling Race “Bałtyk – Karkonosze Tour”.
The police secured the route by setting up posts responsible for traffic control at previously designated locations, in order to ensure that vehicular and pedestrian traffic could be closed at the appropriate time.
The cyclists entered our area from Lubusz Voivodeship—in the village of Rudawica—and rode on to Świętoszów, Przejęsław, Osiecznica and Parowa. Then they continued towards Ruszów, into Zgorzelec County.
The peloton then returned to Bolesławiec County from the direction of Wykroty; the route subsequently ran through Godzieszów towards Henryków.
