SRG GLOBAL in Bolesławiec entered two teams in the race: “In Reverse” and “Just Make It to the Finish”.

“Both teams demonstrated their commitment to the communities we serve, especially children in need,” said Dagmara Drozd, HR manager at SRG GLOBAL’s Bolesławiec plant. “Taking part in the run was an opportunity for us to have fun and spend time actively. Putting together two motivated teams was not a problem,” she added.

The two five-person teams, made up of participants with varying levels of fitness, each ran 25 kilometres. “In Reverse” is an experienced running group that had already competed in numerous tournaments. The members of the second team, whose humorous name was “Just Make It to the Finish”, were people who enjoy spending their free time actively. For them, taking part in the event was an adventure and a chance to test their own abilities.

Participation in the run is part of Guardian and SRG GLOBAL’s global HealthGuard™ health-protection programme, which promotes a healthy lifestyle among employees and their families.

“The Company Run was also an excellent opportunity to spend time together and get to know one another better—not only for the participants, but also for all the employees and their families who came to the course to cheer on their loved ones,” said Jarosław Kawecki, plant director.

“As a member of the Bolesławiec community, SRG GLOBAL was proud to take part in this event, and we will certainly be there again next year. Both physical activity and helping people in need are consistent with the areas of activity pursued by our company,” said Dagmara Drozd. “The beneficiaries of our commitment to supporting the local community are the Children’s Home in Bolesławiec and the Single Mothers’ Home in Pobiedna,” she added.
