The incident occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. at the SRG Global plant in Bolesławiec. An employee of an external company was crushed against the roof structure by a boom lift.
When emergency services and the ambulance arrived, the man was unconscious. It was decided to call a rescue helicopter. The helicopter landed in the parking lot near the Rhenus company.
The injured worker, who was in very serious condition, was transported to a specialist hospital.
The police and labor inspectorate are investigating the cause of the accident.
