On 12 May, the 4th WRPF Polish Championships, organized by the strongest federation in the world, were held in Pruszków. The bench press competition could not have been without an outstanding athlete from Lwówek Śląski, who is also a soldier at a military unit in Bolesławiec, Zbigniew Boczar.
Z. Boczar:
This year, just like last year, I managed to win bronze, but this time in a lower weight category. Pressing 180 kg at a body weight of 79.9 kg was enough to secure the lowest step of the podium. I attempted to equal my personal best, set in the higher category, but unfortunately I did not succeed. However, weighing 10 kg less had only a slight effect on my strength.
But he immediately adds:
On 25 May, there will be another opportunity to test his strength during the 1st World Championships of Uniformed Services, which will be held in Wrocław.
(As Zbigniew Boczar is the current Polish uniformed services champion, he will also be one of the main contenders for the world championship title).
This will be our strongman's final bench press competition of the season, because afterwards he will begin full preparations for the first bodybuilding competition of his life—in classic bodybuilding, already in July this year! With this appearance, the soldier of 23ŚPA wants to show that it is possible to be one of the best bench press athletes in Poland while also having an excellent physique.
Z. Boczar:
The most important thing is that during all the competitions, you can spend time with your family and give your children the joy of receiving a medal and standing on the podium together with their dad.
If you want to look better, improve your strength results or simply improve your fitness, I invite you to work with me. More information is available on Zbigniew Boczar's Facebook and Instagram.
