The beginning of the match did not suggest any problems for our team. BKS Bolesławiec started attacking the visitors’ goal from the outset, and Marek Majka could have put us ahead in the opening minutes. Sparta Grębocice also attacked several times, but Kacper Różnicki was on duty, protecting access to our goal. In the 32nd minute, Marek Majka headed the ball on, and it then reached Daniel Ziółkowski. The BKS midfielder put us 1–0 ahead with a fine shot right next to the post. Despite several more chances for both sides, the score did not change before the break.

BKS Bolesławiec started the second half better. In the 53rd minute, Marek Majka attacked nicely down the left Marek Majka, and after beating two defenders and shooting from a sharp angle, he made it 2–0. Unfortunately, from that moment Sparta Grębocice’s players began to take control. In the 63rd minute, Łukasz Szuszkiewicz scored a goal to bring Sparta back into the match, making it just 2–1 for our team. In the 69th minute, Krzysztof Lisowski was shown a red card for a foul while stopping a dangerous attack, and to make matters worse, Paweł Żmudziński scored from a free kick to make it 2–2. Until the end of the match, despite playing with one fewer player, BKS tried to regain the lead. Unfortunately, neither Eryk Kliwak’s shot nor Adrian Puzio’s free-kick attempts produced a result. Sparta Grębocice could have scored the winner late on, but Kacper Różnicki was always on hand, and the match ultimately ended in a 2–2 draw.
