This film has been talked about for a long time. It was made possible by an online fundraiser organized by well-known journalist Tomasz Sekielski. The documentary, which will be available to watch for free on YouTube, will premiere this Saturday, May 11.
As Wiktoria Beczek of “Gazeta Wyborcza” wrote:
The film by brothers Tomasz and Marek Sekielski will be a serious problem for Catholic hierarchs. This is no longer commentary—the camera recorded priests, including the chaplain of President Lech Wałęsa, admitting to abusing children. What is more, they explain it by referring to passion, the devil and... humor. “Tell No One” is a documentary that makes it impossible to ignore the problem of clerical pedophilia.
Janusz Schwertner of Onet.pl wrote:
Sekielski’s film not only reveals new cases of children being abused by priests, but also confirms other offenses committed by the Church: allowing clergy accused and convicted of pedophilia to work with children, celebrate Mass and administer the sacraments. It also addresses the institutionalized concealment of wrongdoing. Unfortunately, in Poland, there are still clergy celebrating services who harmed children years ago. Sekielski finds such examples, records them and shows them to viewers.
The documentary premieres on Saturday, May 11, at 2:30 p.m., on the youtube.com/sekielski channel.
