Racławice Panorama

The famous Racławice Panorama is one of the paintings that every Polish citizen should see. This monumental work (currently the largest existing Polish painting) is 15 metres high and as much as 114 metres long. The work depicts the Battle of Racławice, during which the forces commanded by Tadeusz Kościuszko defeat the Russians. Hydropolis

The aforementioned Hydropolis is an extraordinary attraction for the whole family. Both children and adults will have a great time at the famous Wrocław knowledge centre devoted to water. Hydropolis is housed in a historic nineteenth-century Neo-Gothic underground clean-water tank covering as much as 4,600 square metres. The facility contains nine themed zones concerning, among other things, water, its inhabitants and its importance to humans and life on Earth. Interactive presentations, exhibitions, photographs and films are sure to capture your interest and make a strong impression.

Wrocław Zoo and Africarium

When in Wrocław, be sure to visit the Zoo and Africarium. It is excellent entertainment for everyone, regardless of age. This oldest zoological garden in Poland has a huge number of different animal species—the largest in Poland—many of which are endangered. The modern Africarium, opened several years ago, makes a particularly strong impression. This pavilion can provide visitors with truly extraordinary experiences. Japanese Garden

Four Domes Pavilion and Museum of Contemporary Art

The Four Domes Pavilion was built for the Centennial Exhibition, which took place in Wrocław in 1912–1913. The symbol of the exhibition was the 106-metre-high Spire standing in front of the building (it is currently 90.3 metres high). Half a century ago, the building housed the Feature Film Studio, where more than 400 excellent Polish films were made, including “Sami swoi”, “Nie ma mocnych” and “Kochaj albo rzuć” by S. Chęciński, as well as “Ashes and Diamonds” by A. Wajda.

The pavilion currently houses the Museum of Contemporary Art. The exceptionally rich exhibition features dozens of works by outstanding Polish artists, such as Z. Beksiński, M. Abakanowicz, T. Kantor and Nowosielski.
