The outcome of Saturday’s match was practically decided in the first half. Although the game was fairly even, it was the home players who managed to take advantage of our mistakes. Orla Wąsosz took the lead as early as the 6th minute. Following Sobieraj’s shot and a deflection, the ball went into our net. BKS Bolesławiec also had their chances. The best fell to Daniel Ziółkowski, but the midfielder’s shot went over the home side’s crossbar. Adrian Puzio also struck well several times, but each time the ball was claimed by the Orla Wąsosz goalkeeper. Just before half-time, the hosts extended their lead to 2–0 with an accurate penalty kick, making our team’s situation difficult.

BKS Bolesławiec dominated in the second half, but this did not produce a goal. Orla Wąsosz focused on protecting their own goal and did so effectively. To make matters worse, a fine shot from outside the penalty area in the 83rd minute made it 3–0, and another defeat for our team became a fact.

Our team will play its next match on Wednesday (01.05, 17:00). BKS Bolesławiec will host Apis Jędrzychowice at Spółdzielcza.
